BLADE&RUBBER
About · Blade & Rubber

Built at a bench.
Run like an arcade.

Three players, one gluing station, and a refusal to sell gear we wouldn't put in our own bags.

About — Est. 2018Chicago, IL

Blade & Rubber started in a Chicago basement with a hot-air gluing station and a stack of blades nobody could agree on. We were three players — a looper, a blocker, and a chopper who never met a rubber he liked — arguing every week about throw angle, sponge hardness, and which bat actually deserved a spot in the bag.

Eventually we realized the arguments were the product. We knew this gear cold, so we started building and selling the setups we'd stake our own matches on. No mystery house brands, no "beginner bundles" that fall apart — just real blades, real rubbers, and honest specs.

House Rules

How we run the shop.

We only stock gear we've played. If it isn't in one of our bags, it isn't on the wall.

Every custom setup is glued and balanced by hand at our bench, sealed, and edge-taped tournament-legal.

Specs are honest — real speed, spin, and control numbers, never marketing fog. Prices are the prices.

Free shipping over $75, and a real player answers your gear questions, not a script.
